Introduction

  You may learn how to find Federal information at the partial depository at the University of Texas-Pan American Library by working through the lessons listed at the left. You may reach the lessons by clicking on the lesson title.

      You may use the following questions to practice with the lessons:

  • Find the title "Statistical Abstract of the United States" in the online catalog;
  • Find the person "George Washington" in the online catalog;
  • Find the sudoc number "J 1.1.14/2:D 84" in the online catalog;
  • Find an ERIC document on the government documents web site;
  • Find information about the president of the United States on the online web site.

 

 Definitions

Documents are books, microfilm, cd-roms pamphlets or websites that will contain information.
